Hey guys. I've seen some crazy products online that people say supposedly ups acceleration, throttle response, torque and hp like no other possible mod .... AND AT INCREDIBLY LOW PRICES~! Are they fake or what? They say that their products are cheap cuz they buy in large quantities, but what do you guys think? Its a .10 cent resistor that damages the car. If you want to do that for free, try kicking the side of it a few times, or running it without oil.

(lol)... i love how on that guys add it says don't pay 400-800 for an ecu upgrade get this resistor instead....??? and how in the hell can wiring in a resistor change engine timing?? am i just not seeing something or is he full of shiat?

It screws with your air temp sensor so your ECU thinks the air is colder and advances the timing a little. Except that sensor is there for a reason and you might not want to advance the timing on a really hot day.

The short answer, the best current intake mod for the 6 is the CP-E. Look it up.

Have you tried contacting cp-e to see if you can just order the tubing itself? Try explaining your situation, maybe they can pull you a deal or something.

The CP-E intake for the 6s is the ONLY upgrade under 1,000 USD, that gives a +20 ft/lbs gain. The only other upgrade that comes close is replacing the ENTIRE exhaust system, from the headers, y pipe, high flow cat, and catback. Thats a bit over 1k for that.
