Automatic Locks?

On several occasions I have unlocked my car with the remote and come back a few seconds later to find it locked. At first I thought I was loosing my mind, but it has happened too many times. I can hear the mechanism unlock the car and within a minute or so the thing locks again. Is this supposed happen?

Yes, it tells you why it does that in the manual.

Thanks, I guess I need to read it again. It really is annoying though, but at least I won't be going back to the dealer for it. After the recall they cringe when they see me coming.
