Anyone know if accessory cost is more after purchase?

I am getting my electrochromatic mirror/homelink installed tomorrow. I know the Edmunds invoice price shows $200, but dealer claimed their cost on it is around $280.

you prob can get it for 200 at a nother dealer.. but if you want it installed.. that's more money. was the price with installation?

dealer installed is higher than port installed. labor rates are different for install jobs done @ the port.

so yes its more money if you buy it after the fact.

The cost of the mirror they are claiming is more, plus the install on top of that. Again I think they are claiming the mirror is $250 plus install.

It looks like a standard Gentex mirror which can be purchased for about $200 on EBAY.

I've put them in other vehicles in less than 45 minutes.
