As everyone knows, Apexcone made some major price adjustments on 35-watt kits a few weeks ago. They are now lowering the price of the 50-watt kits, as well!!!

The 50W ballast is now a 55-watt design, which uses the same amount of power as standard 55-watt halogen bulbs. The result is a kit that provides up to 5000 lumens, making them up to 50% brighter than a standard 35-watt kit, without requiring a separate wiring harness! The initial current draw is 6 amps and the nominal current draw is 4.3 amps, per ballast.

Please make a search on Apexcone about all the satisfied customers we have. You'll see why we are still growing as a business selling almost just HID kits. HID kits are what we do. If they were bad we would have been gone a long time ago.

And we also carry Philips kit. We don't sell bad stuff period. I strongly suggest you see that post as what it is...A deliberate act to tarnish a good product and nothing else.

o.k here it goes, for the longest time you pushed xtec and hailed it as the best thing since sliced bread or the invention of the wheel even though multiple members claimed it was trash and failure prone, you defended it then just as forcefully as you do now. finally you and your supplier concurred it was trash even though you swore up and down for months it wasn't mind you and changed over to a cheaper even more failure prone product yet you somehow want us to believe this one is a cant miss... until this one is discarded with last week's trash and the newest and greatest emerges yet again, come on now, you can fool some sometimes but you cant fool all of us all the time.

I have to get new tires for my car and I want to have some other minor mechanical things done. After that I will be giving you a call about lighting. I talked to one of my friends at work and he explained HIDs to me. We also talked about the accusations in this thread. A few days later my boyfriend came to pick me up from work because my car was getting detailed and he met the guy who told me what HID was. It turns out my boyfriend has bought HID too! He looked at the thread and said that this ksio person is someone that he recognizes from when he owned an old BMW. He bought a Mustang because he wanted to try something new but hates the car.

Anyway, he said this ksio person is someone named Habbie and he showed me some threads on another forum. I feel sorry for you. I have been pm'ing with this ksio and I have to agree with my boyfriend, he seems to have registered just to cause trouble.

That is all, I just wanted to let you know.

I have to go to work now. I will stop posting in this area now. I hope to make many new friends here. I will be in the Mazda 3 section now. And my boyfriend likes my car better than his Mustang!!!

fair enough, however lately i have gotten a few interesting pm's on the site just because i dared to question the name a reputation of a certain vendor and product, how dare i??

since a BMW forum came up it sparked a bit of curiousity and i found it to be real interesting so after a bit of digging up it turns out these same kits are being peddled on www dot bimmerforums dot com for $99 or less, seems we are the only ones getting the proverbial shaft here being ripped off and taken for fools paying twice as much and more for the same trash.
