For the Most accurate temps you should place the probe preturbo but where all runners can hit it.

I haven't done this on the ms3 but on my other turbo car its runs between 900-1000* at idle and spikes 1550ish and maintains 1450's or so.

I wouldn't imagine the MS3 being to much different. Probably a little cooler.
