I will likely be moving to the Fairfax area in the summer, so I was wondering how you people in the NOVA area like your dealerships down there. Do they treat you well? Are they knowledgeable and get things done right? I just wanted to get things like this figured out ahead of time so that it's not a big surprise when I have to deal with it in a few months...:D

Thanks!

ignore this, everyone...just another bitter rx-8 owner who's pissed that he keeps getting passed by ms3's on the road! (hand)

My dealer is an hour south. Not sure it's worth the drive but Bill Britt has always done right by me.

Got my MS3 at Bill Britt also. Great dealership.

fine Ming, i'll actually give you real info for once, goddamn failure

Rosenthal Tysons or Rosenthal Arlington are decent, fairfax mazda is kinda iffy in my experience, you can probably use them for simple maintenance stuff

i don't think there's a 'bad' service dealership in northern VA, just depends on whether you're comfortable w/ them or not.

i use rosenthal arlington primarily

The NoVA dealers will treat you far better if you have mods than the FFCP Dept. will. Browns Mazda in Alexandria is the only dealer I go to, so not sure about the other dealers.

Not the cleanest place in the world. That says alot to me. Service guys could not wrap thier brains around what I was explaining to them.
Just did not feel the knowledge there.

I bought my car from Rosenthal Mazda near Tyson's Corner. It's an ok place. For service I've gone to Brown's Mazda since it's closer. It was only simple things like my recall and oil change but I liked the staff there. The manager at the time was really cool, and was into modding. I asked him what their stances were on that in relation to the warranty and he gave a good answer. Basically something along the lines as they don't care, and don't look to void warranties.

I felt he was very honest.

Swampass and SgtP you guys are in, or close to fredericksburg? I am in fredericksburg also!

I don't have an MS3 yet, but I plan on it this summer. What r u guys driving? Any car show, get togethers, or anything, around this area anymore? I don't know since I sold my last car.

Arlington Mazda is a good place to go...and they don't bitch about mods.

I like right over the chatham bridge. I'm kinda old so when I show up at car meets the other dudes think I'm a narc.

I have an 07 True red, lowered, with OZ Ultra leggeras in gold.

HAHAHA you too??

We should go together. 2 guys show up at the same time, in the same type of car, then walk around together. Have to make sure and have comfortable shoes and Dockers Khaki's.

I'll only agree to that if I am both taller and bigger. I don't want to look like the wife.
