The power steering belt on my 2008 CX-9 GT broke while I was driving last week. I've had it just less than a year and have 19K miles on it. When the belt broke, it also broke a seal that leaked some oil. Repairs are covered under warranty, but the car will have to stay in the service center a couple of days waiting for parts.

The car is driveable, but it takes a lot of muscle to make 90 degree turns.

Just wanted to see if anybody else ran into this problem - or if you do, don't panic, you can still get home.

Yeah you probably have a loose belt.
