View Full Version : Seatbelt adjuster (for further lowering)?

My wife is the primary driver of our CX-9, and she's 5'1". Even the lowest setting of the driver-side seatbelt latch still has the belt cross her neck (it practically touches her ear). She works around this mostly by having the seat as high as she can have it, which makes reaching pedals hard. Even so, it's still hitting her on the neck moreso than the shoulder.

Are there any reliable aftermarket options to help us lower the seatbelt's shoulder position?

Thanks,
Dan ('08 Touring AWD, Dark Blue)

Only thing I can think of is to raise the seat higher if it's not already all the way up.

Murrays or any auto part store for that matter has an adjuster that connects the lap belt to the shoulder belt and will pull that off her neck. I had to get one for my Grandmother (4'10").

Yeah... I was hoping someone might recommend a specific one, or one(s) to avoid. No big. Guess it's off to either NAPA or Auto Zone!

Thanks,
