Hey, how many are running nitrous? Im using a NX 50 shot. What kind of times is everybody running and with what shot? I hit 16.21 tonight, which beat a v6 camaro and a 240 sx. Anybody had any problems? Im running super rich, but no problems.
Any other experiences to share with the group?

im running a 50 shot as well. what kinda car u have? I lost to an eclipse RS!! (I had 600 pounds of people--3 people in my car plus me. he had no passengers) it was close though.

I am...Runnin a 50shot...I haven't run a 1/4 mile while shooting...

16.21 is very low times for nitrous....do you have a bottle warmer? If not..invest in one..you will gain some decent hp..b/c it will help lean it out some...what are the jet sizes u are using?

I figure i am easily in the 15's w/ the 50shot..last time i ran the 1/4 mile w/ out the bottle i ran a 16.4...

did you have a box (subs) in your car..that will weigh down the car..also..the weather plays a major part..if the weather is cold or cool you will get better times..if it's muggy or humid..expect to lose some time!!

Also..take out your spare tire..that should save some time...or if you are desperate like me..remove your back seat...that should definetly save 100lbs...

My experiences...Is that when i didn't have a bottle warmer..the car wasn't that quick w/ the nitrous..but DAMN when i got that bottle warmer...I was killin the competition!!

acidbbg: I ran that with a 100+ lb speaker box, spare tire, and everything. About a year ago when i added the nitrous I entered in a import challenge, for that I gutted the whole car. It was a drivers seat and a bottle on the interior. That time I ran a 16.4 but only sprayed in 2nd gear with crappy bottle pressure. I have been considering a warmer but I get an average of 900 to 1000psi already, anything more than that is enough to hurt stuff (blow the intake right off the throttle body). So right now im doing good, but might add on down the road. If I would gut the car again i know i could shave 200 lbs to pull it into 15s but thats alot of work, and a pain in the a$$.

you should be able to pull a 15.4 on a 50 shot, 14.9 on a 75, get some motor mounts, i got some but have yet to install them, im waiting on a clutch, but i think with good traction and a 50 you can do 15.1, maybe a 14.6 with some good traction for me :D i always get wheel hop, I hate it

oh, and invest in a bottle warmer!!

It really don't matter what brand bottle warmer you get..just be sure which ever one you get that it has a thermostat..otherwize..the pressure can really build up..and boom..your bottle will explode!

I just went w/ NX...I bouhgt the GEN X2 upgrade kit...and saved some money...

He's Right Ya Know..I had my system w/ out a bottle warmer..but wheni got one..the difference was like night and day...The hit's(as i call it) were much stronger...and i think i got full potential out of my NX Kit!!
