View Full Version : How much for the auto tranny??

Any proteges out there with nx on auto trannys??? any idea how much if a 50 shot or 75 shot could the automatic transmission hold???

good question. we only have a few cars here with n2o. two protege 5s running a 75 shot and 50 shot and my mp3 with a 50 shot. i'd be careful....

THe tq kills the auto, I wouldnt run over a 50. On an auto there is too much tq right away without getting into gear, since you will be shooting out of first through thrid. It kills the tranny and wont last very long.

if i put forged internals in my auto tranny ??? how much could it hold up to then ??

I would say..If you went w/ a level 10 tranny...you can easily run a 75shot..I belive..there are 1 or 2 people..runnin 35-50shot..on an auto!

Just got to remember to lift your foot off the gas..during shifts!
