endurance kart race

There is going to be a 6 hour endurance kart race @ Lowe's Motor Speedway, Saturday November 8. You can check out the info @ endurancekarting.com. Jerry Nadeau and Ernie Irvin will be racing in the event.
When we ran the spring event, spectators got in free, so this might be a idea for a g2g, or even better put a team together and have a blast racing your buddies.:) I am under team orders to keep my weight up for the 190 pound avg. in the GTBB class, also known as the Fat Boy class!!!:eek: Check it out!

I guess I will reply to my own post. This afternoon we had practice for the 6 hour endurance race tomorrow. Our team was very tight, with all drivers turning low 60 second lap times, so we should do well overall. Our pit strategy and fast stops put us in the winner's circle this spring and we expect to repeate this effort!!!! My face is hurting from grinning so much! I'll post results after the race tomorrow night.

Well the fun is over and did we have us a bus load!!!!! Started out with the track soaked from the early morning rain, so for qualifying we sent out the two best drivers in the wet and placed 4th out of 22 karts. A Lemans style start got us going and it was on for 6 hours. End result was the team winning GTBB and having a great time!! Hope to post pics later.
