Hey first real aussie thread
Twilight thinking of getting a colum gauge pod from protege5.com.
I know you have one do you like it does it get in the way of speedo with colum down all the way or do you know where i can get a Right side pillar gauge pod from as i think i like them a bit better if done good a moulded one?

yeah it's great. the plastic isnt the same as the column, but is very similar. it replaced half of the column plastic (you'll see a join mark half way along the side of the column plastic). a little plastic work was needed for mine because the front of it was rubbing against the steering wheel when i turned it, but that was easy fix.
quite frankly i like the column guage pod much more than the a-pillar pod guages because it doesnt stick out as much and doesnt cut down on visibility....that's just my opinion

the issue in australia...
if its above the wheel its a no go.... for visibilities sake...
i have three gauges mounted in one of my stereo DIN holes... as i only use one with my replacment head unit...
hope this helps....

that's why i got the steering wheel mounted pod. i could argue with the cop it's a factory option and it doesnt limit vision one little bit.
on another point, sh!t hanging from the rear vision mirror is illegal too
