Yesterday i was goin down my steep driveway and my left front wheel brushed our brick steps...There was this sickly thud....i was like wtf...it sounded as if there was some seriously damage..hopped out of car and it was a flat.....totally irrepairable.

After putting in the spare, i rang around for some quotes to have the damaged tyre replaced..best price was 225 fitted n balanced..
man im getting raped here!!!!!!

So now im wondering if i should just replace all the tyres with some better rubber...

Yokohama AVS ES 100 seems to be well liked by most ppl.
Or maybe some Falken Ziex 512's
Anyone know how much either of these would cost???

Or should i just fork out the 225 and then when i can afford it, get some new rims n tyres?

Any suggestions on which path i should take??

Thanks!

man sounds a lot! i know with the stock 16x6 wheels on the SP20 we can fit falken azenis 215/45/16. that's what i'm buying next (early next year). up here in bris they are $260 per tire fitted and balanced....and that was only after calling one place so i had a rough idea.
