I just cant belive it was just driving along and a truck drops some loose rocks off the back doing about 60km/h
and sure enough I crack a fog light, one day before the Gold Coast Cruise
has anybody got an answer to cover these lights ? or have a spare light case to get to me before tommorow cause mazda dont seem to have any in brisbane
cause a replacement casing is like AU$335

yeah i got a nice hole in my pass side fog light. it happened not ling after i bought the car.
apparently there is a plastic cover available, but i'm not sure.
what i have done to stop any water etc getting into the light housing is cover the hole with clear silicone. you dont notice it unless you're close to the light.
i can bring along a tube of the stuff tom night if you like?

OK
I have read through all the fog light posts on the board and I think the 3M stone protection is the way to protect these lights and I think I am just gonna put one stock light back in the car rather than replace both lights

yeah no worries kurt
yep those are the lights i'm going to get eventually...but just remember they are driving lights not fogs...
and yeah, the 3m protection certainly wont hurt.
oh by the way, you might be able to pick up a single fog light on the forum here too...might be cheaper for you

Well
I replaced the smashed fog lamp with a new stock fog lamp. Then I add the 3M protective film from xpel.com which was pretty easy to put on.
So all fitted gives for less worring about breaking them
will post pics once I take pics of them
