need help on camshafts

i need help on camshafts quickly. Can i just buy a j-spec intake camshaft(the one one from corksport and install on its own or do you have to have both. Do you know what the set comes with do i need any extra parts etc

It would be normal I think for a camshaft to be a stand-alone instal.

Don't know the Corksport item but the Mazda Speed intake cam is sold as a single item, (Jspec), no exhaust cam required, and said to be good for 12hp....

i replied to the performance forum section, but for all...

the aussie SP20 comes with the j-spec intake cam as stock. exhaust cams are the same around the world. the only different exhaust cam is the mazdaspeed exhaust cam...which is basically just the intake cam with the pin fixed up for the exhaust side.

best performance gains would be seen with custom cams....and tuning

Apparently the Mazdaspeed exhaust cams are all gone now.
Corkspeed developing their own.

twilightprotege, do you know the diff between our inlet manifold and the FS-ZE one?

i cant confirm the difference at this stage...nobody seams to know. to me the all appear to be the same!
