Phantasm is alright to buy stuff from I guess, just dont let them touch your car, and they have a dyno, so thats a plus. AND they can custom make you some vinyl stickers!

Do Not even buy parts from Phantasm unless you know what the proper price for the product is. They brutally overcharge at the shop. Gauges are 20% more there than they are online and they ask about 2x what TT's should be for example. There are a few knowledgeable people there but they are few and far between. Just be cautious dealing with them overall.

I can't tell you anything about cartunes. Where are they located?

Off of 401 between Garner and Raleigh. They also have a place in Cary now. Yea I understand about the mark up that mostly goes for all places. But in some cases they usually cut you a deal on labor if you buy there parts. I have never found an honest mechanic yet.

I goto phantasm my friend with a GSX about 3 years ago had 500 hp at wheels. I went to get gauges and actually paid 20 bucks cheaper for them than i found them anywhere online. There was a sick as EVO 8 there and a WRX. They do good work, they tuned the piss out of my friends GSX and the EVO had like 350 at the wheels, with just a standalone and a downpipe.
