i remember before the ulladulla cruise, the biggest turnout to previous meets was like 6 or so ppl but now its getting better and better!!!

haha, andy, took me 10 hours to the gold coast, from MY house.... i'm 45 minutes north of thornleigh, BUT i'm goign to start down there... i just love the drive!!

and yes she does have friends... she also reads the forums!!! umm yeah, its her friends, plus some of mine, so yeah, we jsut need to grab our gear in the morning before leaving my house, and either take it to her house (round the corner from thornleigh) or travel with it....
option B is to grab it on the way out (probably the best really)

i would suggest you don't get up that early, you'll be rat shit on saturday!!! if you leave at 6 you should get here at 5pm local time... (remember we are an hour ahead of you)aim for 8pm... so this means a departure of 9am brisbane time

okay here i have some proposed routes - NB both drives are proposed for clockwise travel ie up the old road, through peats ridge........ then newcastle then down the coast

version 1 was my original version.... is good and long and bumpy... not good for those lowered peeps....

ok the brewery opens for lunch at 12, and closes at 3..... i think we will probably get there about 12ish anyway,(after breaks, and traffic etc....)

haha, the grass by the brewery is council land ie it ain't happening....

umm there is meter parking next to the brewery, otherwise, we can take a stroll.... a bit over 500 metres (sorry smokers, we will die doing that walk...)

parking can't really be guaranteed (but terrigal will be easy)

oh yeah i jsut drove there... this cruise will take roughly 4.5 hours on the raod and will travel over about 325 km all up, (unless your andrew, as this will take about 24 hours over 1900 km...)

bookings are essential for the numbers.... and we must really make deadline at 7:30pm friday the 23rd of January

by the way the roughest bit of road we go on is a bad patch through forresters beach to terrigal, it can be avoided by going on gravel.... section lasts about 2km.... so we can take it slowly through there.... how are we on speed humps?

Can manage the run to terrigal, was there a few months ago, plenty parking there but hard to get a decent all-cars pic the way it is.

oh well im out. my car was caught in hailstorm at shellharbour square. the only reason i went out was to get oil to do a bloody service on the car. the roof looks like bloody orange peel and the bonnet looks like i drove through a driving range. so as you could gather i am not happy. gets assessed this week which means take wheels off, put old springs in and put old air filter back in. better to be safe than sorry.

no worries....but welcome back!

it was a good trip. no drama's at all. great trip down from brisbane and back. quite a few cops, but as soon as i saw one i went up to about 140-150 for 1/2 hour then back to the speed limit. good way of being pretty safe with speeding (cops only patrol their own little area, so the chances of seeing another one straight away were close to nil)
