it's not that bad - 2 doorskins and paint - you'll be fine.
Get a lawyer and sue the fucker dry.
So,.............how many threads are you going to make about this?

I was thinking 2, smart ass. One in the main forum, and one to let the locals know what was up. What are you doing in the NC forum anyway?
Thanks for the kind words, by the way.

Thread number one. This is thread number 2, the last one for the people in my area. What's the deal with you anyway? It hasn't exactly been a pleasant night. It would have been nice to know I wouldn't get flamed for venting.
Thanks again.

Sorry man, I know it has been a shit night for you. I didn't think this was a flame, just wondering why the multiple threads about the same topic that was all.
Don't get your panties in a bunch, go have a beer on me!

Hanes briefs, and they don't really bunch, they tend to ride up. Mind if I get a Dr Pepper instead? I don't drink alcoholic beverages. :)

Ouch. Sorry for the bad fortune. Hopefully your insurance provider will take good care of your car. Good luck with the repairs and hope to see you around town sometime.
Now....find out who the girl is, her car is bound to be damaged.....wait till she gets it all fixed....then take a sledgehammer to it one night.
THAT is called PAYBACK and it is, as they say, a BITCH!

If I understand correctly, based on what the boyfriend said, she lives in this complex. If that's the case, we're going to have a NICE conversation. From all the debris all over the parking lot, it's my guess that there's not a single body panel on the car that's not damaged. She drove over medians at full clip as well, so the suspension is probably tweaked. The car was smoking like crazy when she left. I'm hoping it's totaled.
This truck was in gear with the parking brake on:

After seeing how the truck ended up you are looking pretty lucky.

My car only took moderate damage, but my feelings took a serious beating. :( I did get off easy comparatively.
The car that got knocked into mine is screwed. You may not be able to see it from the picture, but the left rear tire is now pointing to the front right tire.

wow - i really hope you find the individual responsible for this. behavior like that is unacceptable. after taking care of the mess she created - she needs to take care of herself.

When the police finally did file a report, we did find out that they had located the woman. On top of 5 hit and runs, she blew a .28! No wonder she didn't stop after hitting the first car, she probably didn't even realize she had. I'd much rather be in my shoes than hers right about now. She's in a world of trouble, and will likely be paying for it for quite some time to come. The best part is, she's going to be stuck with the consequences of something she probably doesn't even have the vaguest memory of doing.
I feel SO much better about the whole thing knowing she's been caught and will be held accountable.
