Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the rainbow-like structure of the Mazda3, they made a huge leap in design. Nice pictures, Frenzy.

two questions for you frenzy2223, one, what did you wind up paying for your car after tax and tags? Two, what is this shorty antenna and where did you get it from? Is that a dealer option? The antenna is a crappy one at that, that comes stock with the car so if I do wind up purchasing a 3 then this short antenna sounds good. Also how much was it?

The 0-60 in the 6's was a typo! Thanks for pointing it out. I will change that!

I got my antenna off of ebay. The links are below. You can find a variety of different ones! I paid $20.99 incld shipping. Let me know if you need more info on the antenna. I paid $19800 after tax, tags and a $200 carryover that I owed on my old car! I'm not really sure how it all worked out, but they did take some money off of the price they had quoted me of $19100.

Hey I appreciate your response, best of luck with your new car! I'll be posting up when I finally do purchase mine, if I get the price to where I want it to be. What you paid is way too high for me. I'm looking for at least another 3k off of that. They have to give me a deal, I've got the S-plan on my side and 3 other people who are willing to purchase the 3 with me at the sametime. They're idiots if they pass up on this sale, but who knows, we'll see. Take care bud and thanks again.

It will be hard to do, due to the car being so new! When I was looking for mine I would go to a dealer when I got off of work to look at them. When I would go back the next day the car would be sold. This happened at about 3 or 4 dealers. I needed a car bad cuz my Probe GT was about to die. I know that delivery of the Mazda 3's was running about 20-30 days behind. Once they catch up and inventory increases you should be able to get a good deal!

I figured that, they seem to be getting large shipments in every week. Too large in fact, they keep thowing them over to the rental division. I'm going to try a couple of other dealers to see if the numbers stay consistent. My brother races rx-7's out in TX and is sponsored by Mazda so he's going to see if he can get some numbers for me from some of his friends who are mazda dealers. If it doesn't happen soon it definitely will later. My car is running fine right now, I have a 99 Nissan Altima GLE w/54000 miles so if I'm going to get rid of it nows the time where I can still get some money for it and move into a car with a warranty so I have some reassurance for at least 4 years. My car is in beautiful condition with low mileage for it's year so we'll see what happens.
