I have recently installed some driving lights but can only get them to work on low beam.

Does anyone know how to setup the relay to switch power to the driving lights when the high beams are on only ?

Cheers

Brad

if they only work on low beam you've spliced into the wrong (low beam) wire.

and bjporter - make sure you introduce yourself to the other aussie here :D

I have resolved the problem.

Because the headlights run off a common earth I had to use a combination of a Change-Over Relay and a normal relay so as to enable the driving lights to operate with the high beams on only.

I will endevour to do a How To soon so that anybody else who wishes to hook up some driving lights can do so.

meh, i just hooked mine into the low beams, then switched to relay... worked good, but mine are fog lights....
you can always just use the power off the actual high beam relay, in the relay box.... you will have to experiment to find the exaccct contact.... i would highly reccomend taking out the high beam relay, and checking with a test light... (while high beams are on)
