Hey guys,
I thought it would be a good idea to have a list of what company we work for and if that company can do any special deals for us all? You never know, might save us a few dollars here and there.
So all, if you like and can, post what deals you can do....I'll start
I work for Suncorp. I can usually arrange $50 off normal car insurance premiums Australia wide.

I am a mortgage broker.
I have 30 different lenders (one of them is Suncorp Metway :) ) and I don't charge my clients for professional services.
For members of this site I will offer a $100 cash-back on settlement out of my commission for deals over $150k.

so twilightprotege, when you say "normal car insurance", do you mean non-modified cars? do you insure cars with minor mods like mags and springs? just wondering coz i need to find a new insurer soon.
Hi all, i work for Tenix, nothing much i can offer besides legal advice on Road Safety. Thought i'd join in too.
hey lazer, dunno if you know about this but i've heard stories about cops pulling hotted up cars and giving them fines for each mod they had on their car - intake, suspension, exhaust, etc. a guy at the mazda dealer said this happened to his cousin who owns an sp20 (i wonder if he's on here) and that the fines added up to >$1000! its probably up to the cop's discretion, whether to pull you over or not, but its scary if its true.

suncorp insures most things, but each mod has "points" linked to it. once you get to a certain amount of points there is a fixed xs on your policy ($350), then when it gets to the next level the xs goes to $600....etc.
non-standard alloys and modified suspension dont attract any fixed xs's or any increase in premium. note that i said modified suspension??? you can do what you want to it, so long as it's road worthy (ie sway bars, coil overs, camber kits etc)

haha, be funny if they would insure me!!
twilightprotege
04-06-2004, 06:28 AM
that's coz you're naughty naughty naughty. police officers and the rta give ya spankin's.
shhh....at the moment my listed mods are "modified fuel system" (ie anything engine related like cams, port and polish) and modified suspension hehehe. gotta add on modified exhaust now though.

I work for this Trading Company. One of the good stuff my company selling is the HID conversion kits. I installed it in my mazda and some of my mates car...woowww...once u've got HID, you wont go back to halogen. The HID looks really nice especially on Mazda 3 & 6 because of it's projector headlights. So, if anyone interested in H7 HID lights, can always get in touch with me...special staff discount apply.

Here you work for them:

Hi, I know of this guy who sell HID H7 for Mazda3. I bought it from him and I am very happy with the product. Based in Australia though. You can get it from him for about AUS$500. Probably if you buy more, you can bargain a bit with him. I bought 4 sets from him and he gave me AUS$475. Well let me know if you need his contact.
Cheers. Here you got it from the states:
I'm currently using KDG HID conversion kit on my Mazda3 Axela sp23. I'm very happy with the product. Got it for ard US$350 excluding shipping.
so all i'm asking is which is the truth?

Well...I got it here in Australia. The price that I got it for as
given by the company is US$350, that comes to about AUS$475-$500
depending on the currency rate. I put US$350 coz most of the members
are in states. While I put $475 for the Aust Marketplace. Sorry to
have confused some of you...heheheh..
