Airbag light always coming on

I just got my Mazda 3 on Saturday, and i got the ABS and all the airbags, but the passanger air bag only deploys if the weight in the seat is greater than 66 pounds, but if the weight is less or the seat is empty then the light comes on saying "PASSANGER AIRBAG OFF" well the light is still coming on when anyone (over 66 lbs) is sitting there including myself, is this a known problem??? i did a search and found some stuff but not sure it's the same problem, any info would be great!

Not the exact same thing, but probably related. Most likely a sensor that has to be replaced. Bring it to the dealership.
