I was thinking why dont we have more Brisbane Cruises
The astinaGT guys down south seem to have about one a month
maybe us north of the border could manage more than one a year up here

what do ya think ? is it possible ?

there are about 4 or 5 semi-regular brisbanites that hang around here....not as often as us though

ahem, fyi mexico is below NSW...therefore QLD would be ...(can't be alaska...) canadia!!!

if you want to start making cruises, your gonna have to be actively carding cars up there, even if they have just a set of mag wheels... you could either print astinaGT's cards, OR actually make P5 cards... i'd also suggest club stickers, as much as i hate stickers, i'm trying to organise some more stickers!!

If you give me a weeks notice, I'd prob be up for a cruse with you guys one sat, I'd bring a car load of friends too, I'm at Toowoomba, not too far for a meet up. Plus I love driving.

sacah - there is another cruise this weekend (probably saturday or sunday morning) if you're up to it. another drive from the gap through my nebo and glorious, then probably all the way out to esk and have morning tea there

This Sat just gone, I got 3 of my friends, and we drove out to Esk, stopped off at the bakery, it was really disapointing this time, usually great food, then we drove out toward Sumerset, took the Brisbane Forest turn, and drove through Mt Glorious then to Mt Nebo, then through The Gap to Indoorpilly to do some shopping, then back home the quick way.

I must say it was a good thing you guys didn't go, cause Mt Glor and Nebo got hit pretty bad by the storm, there was tons of leaves, branches and muck on the roads, and on those windy bits, I had to come to sudden stops as a tree was laying accross the road, and the cars and bikes oncoming were doing 60-80 easy. When its all cleaned up I reckon it would be sweet.
Um, its March 20 too, not April, and I can't come have a church thing booked already, plus driving 2hr to The Gap to be there by 7am, thats a bit sharp, considering I won't get home till 1-2am that morning anyway.

we actually went for a drive along there on saturday night. plenty of crap all over the road, but it was no biggie. kept you alert that's for sure ;)

oh yeah, march 20. doh. i'm getting married in april and i keep on saying april hehehehe....but i did think 7am was going to be a bit early for you guys, but maybe next time. maybe you could meet us at esk next time and go back home through nebo etc....
