Alright guys, stuck here at Campbell, the itty bitty town of Buies Creek. Need to do something on one of these boring weekends. Let's get this party started. I'm from Texas, and there are alot of guys down there. Time to get a little meeting going over on this side of the country.

I've got a 5 day weekend starting the 13th in march, so we could do it on the 14th. Thats a sunday, people in the triangle area might be off work on sundays, or that gives them time to get off work. Plus being a sunday means theres probably not going to be that much traffic at the mall.

Somebody post directionsGo down College, get on Kivett, Get on 85...go to 40/85, when they split in Orange County(Hillsboro) go left towards Durham(not towards Chapel Hill), Go through Durham take Hwy 70 exit in the midst of all the construction(next exit should be Cheek Rd. if your going the right way), down 70 you should pass Pizza Hut/McDonalds/Burger King/Bojangles/CCB/etc., stay on Hwy 70 and Breir Creek will be on the right.

I know that area very well. I live just north of that area. The roads are very good for driving but narrow with zero shoulder. Some areas are experiencing more sand/dust/dirt debris as a result of the snows we have had along with construction traffic. Slightly north east is the area I frequently enjoy for country drives (drive)

At that time the movie theater lot or BJs warehouse(there is no bojays right there) lot will be the emptiest. That is a very popular place at anytime of the day/week. Espically Saturday afternoon. I think I'm gonna ride up there today and see if the Kohls lot is open. There people wouldn't see all of our cars but it would be sooo much easier.

Spring break for my school started on March 6 and since I live in Texas I usually just chill with some of my friends here instead of driving all the way back to Texas for 2 days and then turn around and drive back.

So anyways I went to a friends house for the week and I go to get online to check the website to see what time and where the meet is and when I checked there was still no time figured out. Spring break goes pretty much as planned, we spent most of the time at myrtle beach we drive all over the place and during our cruising I tell him that we need to look for some place that has the internet, I was thinking that there would be a mall there that had those kiosks with internet access, well we never found any place that had the net. We ended up coming back on Friday the 12th. When we get to his house we go to get on the internet but it wasn't working because there is some virus that got into the network and they are trying to fix the problem. Well we called the ISP and spent over 1 hour and a half trying to see if we could fix the problem and we never could, they told us that they would send someone to the house on monday to fix the problem. By this time it was late at night and we were tired from driving so long from the beach so we went to bed. We slept in late on saturday (11:30) and figured since we were in charlotte that it was probably already too late to go to raleigh to see if we could just drive around and find any of you guys just cruisin.

I'm really sorry I didn't make it. We both wanted to stop by and chill with you guys. Dang it....any plans for another meet? This time we'll stay at school by ourselves where the internet works and we can check to see when the time is.

I was in Myrtle Beach too. You didn't happen to see a lighly modded 2nd gen. around there? I was hoping make it to the meet too but my parents are moving, so we went to the area to check out some houses and then went down to Myrtle. I was crusing the strip one night, it might have been after you left. I saw a blue p5 when I was down there but no other proteges.

I was in my friends car...I was on the look out for p5's and saw a laser blue one, but that was it. We were in a white camry....yeah big pimpin. We took his grandparents cars instead of his or mine because of the mileage and we weren't sure what it would be like down there and didn't want ours to get damaged. Darn road construction on ocean blvd. LOL

oh yea i had a good time too even though i was late working untill 3 sucks on sat but oh well i have every monday off!!!

Oh sure Carl, put the burden on me(protest) I pmed you weeks ago and you seemed sketchy about making it. It was a great meet, we all hung out for a bit and went to an italian place and chowed down. Next time subscribe to the thread and you will get updates (poke) All kidding aside I will try to remind more of you next time to make it out but I figured this thread was bumped a ton so it had pretty good exposure...which seemed to be the case because for a shorter notice, less planned meet it had a nice turnout.
