What % Tint ??????

So i have a New Red 3s, And i want to have the windows tinted, What % would you guys say is a good in the middle of the road. I dont want it tooo Dark, but at the same time i dont want it to look as if there is not any on it. If anyone has there ride tinted , post some pics and the % Thanks! (friday)

First and foremost I recommend you just "check " with you local state/mounted police. They will tell you what is legal and what isn't then you can do what you want but at least you will be informed. If you live in the south I recommend 5% on the rear windows (limo tint dark) and a 25-35% on the front door windows. I had that combination in Florida and never got any guff for it. Moved to Pennsylvania in 2000 and got harrassed repeatedly by the local law so I just took it off (my wife got pulled over and harrassed and that was the end of that) Keep in mind that your local laws may differ from my opinion

5% tint is REALLY REALLY REALLY dark.

I like 35% tint for some reason

heres a pick of my 3 with 20% all the way around...nice in the day dark at night...never any trouble from cops with any cars i have had with 20% around

I don't have pics, but 30% is noticeable, keeps the heat out a good bit, and is still very driveable at night.

5% all around on my RX-7....it's dark as hell though, but I love it! On my MSP I plan on going lighter, about 35% up front, & 15% on rear windows.

I'm from the philly area and getting my tint job done this week (hopefully) from Smokin' Moe's. Anyone know of a better place let me know. I'll post pics after I get all the fucking pollen off my car and when its done.

I like Canada3's idea of 20% all around but in the pic, it looks a little lighter than I expected. I have a red P5 and I'm going to get it tinted soon and I think I might go 15%-25% rear windows and 35% driver and passenger front windows.

The front windows are illegal to have tint in Alberta but the cops dont really seem to care and I could remove it myself if they made me.

in michigan your not allowed to have any tint more then 4 inches from the top of your window thats why i went a little lighter. i dont feel like dealin with some dick-head cops givin me a hard time.im pretty happy with the way it turned out. conekiller- the blue is a sweet color
