I agree with you with the rice factor though, but what do you consider rice? I'm going to do some small mods: stubby, tint, new shifter, audio upgrade. that isn't rice though is it? don't worry, i won't put any mazdaspeed stickers on my car unless i get some mazdaspeed products. Rice:

Displaying things your car is not equipped with. I.E. fake rear disc brakes, VTEC sticker with no VTEC, fake intercooler, etc.

Nonfunctional mods: Huge aftermarket spoiler designed for a RWD car placed on a FWD car, Hood scoop for no reason, etc.

Trying to make your car look like something else: Z3 fenders, etc.

Pointless 'performance' mods: Loud muffler on a otherwise stock car, etc.

i won't get stickers, don't worry. i do like the stock tip, but figured maybe it would look a bit better if it was a tad bigger. not huge or anything, just a tad. as for the wheels, i love them. i'm coming off of a 2001 accord and these wheels look amazing (break dust aside). the pedals piss me off because they're close together, but other than that, i love this car and offically addicted to this message board.

what i'm saying if you picked 20 people and told them to wright down on paper what they think is rice....chances are the 1st list is what majority would come to agrement on. people are into making the car look faster over it actually being faster in todays society....people spent enough money on bodykits and wings and systems and 20 tv's in a 5 seater to have dropped the actual Type R engine that they have badges for on the side of the car and then turbo it...$250,000,000 is a tally spent on aftermarket parts to fix cars up...most is rims and kits then systems then engine parts...all I say is balance it out...The list of items I mentioned in the lower half of my other post are basic thinks that will keep you off "most" peoples rice radar if done right. Rice is a age group or society standard set buy what a group of people assume is not tastefull. so depending on where you live having a car with XYZ mods is rice but another community it's the shit...he true text book term for rice is not set in stone so people loooosely throw it out for anything they personally don't like. My only petpieve is doing half a mod and....never finnishing it. don't botherputting type R decals on if you havn't even botered to remove the DX emblem!!!! People sit down and see fast and the furious collections and thing every part made 10 hp from green neons to lowering....all I ask is look before you leap cause some things just don't make scense at all...
