Parts from other Mazda's fit the 3?

Anyone know if the exhaust from the MSP will fit the 3?

Also I am looking into swapping the brakes from the 6 to my vehicle as they are slightly larger and will benefit when I add a turbo later.

i thought the 6's brakes were like .7" smaller than the mazda3... i have the s model though

Brakes on a 3s are huge in the front. you must not have the 3s. and if you dont have the 3s.. then why would you add a turbo?

6 has 11 inch rotors....front vented and wider than back...Have actual dimentions but the disc it is on is taking forever....get back to you on it...(shrug)

i doubt a sedan exhaust would fit on a 3 hatch, but maybe a 3 sedan.

No offense to 6 owners, I love the look of the car, but I don't like that got milk grill. Just my beef. The tails have grown on me and the rest of the car is just bad a$$. It sits and a good ride height too. very sporty. not to mention V6 - 6speed!!!!!

I still wonder what those rims would look like on the 3. I would love to switch the dash too. but......I wont.

It would not be worth to switch to the 6 brakes, as the Mazda 3 S has F:11.8" and R:10.9.

But I am going to look into swapping the RX8 brakes with calipers as they are F:12.72" and R:11.93". If successful this could be a nice little mod.

Having a buddy of mine who owns a shop locate the front and rear calipers for me.

Brakes on a 3s are huge in the front. you must not have the 3s. and if you dont have the 3s.. then why would you add a turbo?

Front Brakes Ventilated discs (11.1 x 1.0 inches)
Rear Brakes Solid discs (11.0 x 0.4 inches)
and as for the grile...don't think its a direct swap but you can pick one up off ebay and trim it down to fit...or just remove the 5 screws holding the chrome piece to the black piece and run speed mesh with it but cut the chrome to fit...tha would be nice to see but a lil bit of work...nobody on your block would have it and be jellous of you tho
