I went to the Mazda dealer asking them about exhuast and i am thinkin of putting a exhuast system, that sounds like the fast and the furious and they gave me a number to call a 800 # and the lady said, that this number would tell you weather or not the product i would put on my Mazda would void the warrenty or not. Im not sure how to word this exactly but like in 6 months who thinks that the majority of aftermarket parts will be in Mazda 3's, or 6's?

yes.
If i was to put aftermarket parts like a exhaust should i wait to see what aftermarket parts hurt the car if they do, or not wait and put exhuast on now? (shrug)

(confused) *puts F&F stickers all over car*
...
*tapes fake hood scoop on hood*
i'll say it so that someone else doesn't have to. getting an exhaust if fine, but to say "to make the car sound like f&f" is purely (rice)

I dont understand what "RICE" means. i know thats a Stupid question but,
from what i have read basically "RICE" means to only soup up a car half assed like only put exhuast, and not put everything else. if i am right or wrong please someone tell me thank you! (shrug)

I think there will be a ton of aftermarket support for the 3 in a year or so. Already, in Japan, there's all kinds of body kits, etc.

u got that 800 number? i just ordered a new muffler and tip last nite and i never even thought to check with the dealership. ive seen other people putting stuff like that on their 3s though so i dont see why it would void the warranty. and as far as parts comin out in 6months....i dunno about that. but even when they dont arent the exhaust systems gonna be like $700-$800. i dont have that much$$$ ta spend on exhaust.

like it has said on many other threads in this forum... The burden of prrof is on the dealer. If you were to get and exhaust and then something happened to your car that you needed to bring it in...Mazda could not legally void your warrenty unless they proved that your aftermarket part is what caused the problem. So those of you who bought exhausts and mufflers and the like...dont worry enjoy your MODS

yeah i called that 800 number and they said that if i replace my muffler it wont void the warranty. IF the muffler causes sumthin ta mess up then yeah it would void that part. so by this time next week ill have a new exhaust. (boom07)
