I just got the dg lip and I was trying to take off the lower air splitter today.
It has 2 phillips screws and a butt load of allen head screws.
The phillips came out fine but the allens would just turn.
I couldn't get any of them out.
Is there a secret technique to this or what?
Anyone removed theirs yet?

Shat. So I suppose I'd have to take my bumper off to get to them eh?It's MUCH easier to remove that way. The bumper cover is not that hard to take off, just takes time.

I removed mine (it's now on bazooka joe's P5) without removing the front fascia. It takes a little flexibility, but it can be done. All you need is an allen wrench and a boxed end wrench (I believe 10mm). If you've got an allen head socket and socket wrench it'll be a big help too.

Either way, good luck with it.

It can be done without removing the cover, but it is a ROYAL pain... I had to replace mine last week, and it took almost 2 hours because of how long the bolts are, the nylock on the nuts and the awkward angle...
