Recently I got the suggestion from a friend that the rear end of the speed would look sweet without all the logo's on it. He was told (and I am asking to make sure this is true) that is held on by glue only. And that you can just take a hand dryer, heat it up, then use dental floss to take them off easily. Any truth to this?? Any possible hard??
Also is there anyway of taking off the front emblem without buying an entirely new....front bezil? Not sure what to call it.
Thanks

the Protege logo and mazda "m" logo have small knobs that hold them in as well as the adhesive. removing the logos will leave a pair of exposed holes for both logos

the front grill, without the emblem in place, has the M shape still cut out of it where the M would fit in.

It would help if you would elaborate clearly on whatever the hell you are trying to say...
I think you are asking if there are 2 holes for the rear flying m emblem. If you are, then yes, there are.

Lol guys sorry about that I haven't checked this for a while cause no one was posting. All I was saying was the other 2 emblems. My giant finger must have pressed the 3 at the same time, so sorry.
Im just talking about the Protege' and Mazdaspeed symbols. On the left and right of the trunk.

Ah yes that would be a good idea huh (boom02).

Ok I finally got a chance to take a look and here is the info for anyone else that is interested.
The mazda emblem is attached by 2 bolt/washers ,DOH!
The mazdaspeed logo appears to be glue only BUT there are 2 holes behined there i it so can't remove w/o holes, DOH!
The Pretege' is also attached by 2 bolt/washer combo's, DOH!
So WAAAaaa WAAAaaaaaaaa the emblems gotta stay it seems.

I could have told you that & I probably already told someone else if you would have searched. It doesn't mean you can't take them off. The holes on my car are barely visible because I put 3M VHB tape over them on the inside of the trunk. Then just use the touch-up paint you got with the car & paint the white tape that you see from the outside of your car. I guarantee that hardly anyone will notice & you'll probably forget too after awhile.

Oh I wasn't implying that they could not be taken off, perhaps I should have said a full statement.
I wanted them off with no marks, I dont want a bunch of holes in my trunk, that is the majority of my waa waaaaa.
Im sure they come off very easy...maybe Ill take em off and see how it looks.

since you have black mica you could co what i did
just paint the mazda and protege emblems black until you have enough to really shave/paint the trunk proper
its looks pretty good all blacked out, eventually ill remove the center and left emblems and just leave the mazdaspeed one
