i took off my original mazdaspeed spoiler, and now there are 4 nasty holes on one side and 3 on the other. what is the best way to cover them. or may be ther are other options.
thank you in advance.

1. Replace it with some other spoiler.
2. Go to a body shop & get the holes filled, which will also require the trunk to be resprayed & cost a lot of $$.
3. Get a CF trunk & be done with it.
4. Find some plastic plugs at Home Depot or some place.

*Put some 3M VHB tape on the inside of the trunk (if you need a temporary solution).*

I had my trunk lid completely shaved. (emblems and stock spoiler holes) It is expensive though, as they have to weld the holes closed. Cost me $600 to repaint the lid/WW spoiler.

i would love to do something like that, but its pricey. i am looking for a cheaper way to do it. may be a flat custom carbon fiber piece that would cover up the holes or something of that nature. dont want to deal with repainting....

Sell your wing & put the $$ toward a CF trunk. If Steph gets mad, tell her she can have my wing.

i am still debating if i should keep the wing or not. i want to be able to put my car back to stock if i ever decide to sell it.

I would just put it back on.

If you didn't want to bondo the holes and repaint the trunk, you could always take plastic plugs, paint them to match the color of your car then plug the holes. That way you could stick your stock wing back on whenever you wanted. Just an idea.
Oh, I hope you don't give your wing away just because it's whoever's birthday. That would just be plain stupid.

Marat-
I think you should just cover up the holes and keep your spoiler... You might miss it. Plugs or whatever the other guys said.

you could alos scavenge a stock trunk lid from like, and LX or something, where there are no holes for a spoiler, and get it painted 'Tight'tanium, and use that as one lid, then switch back and forth as your mood sways you too...but that might cost some money, prolly not nearly as much as getting that one filled, and painted...you know?
