First of I'd like to get a big (fu) to all of you that throw your gum on the road or in parking lots.
Anyways, I ran over some gum and it's all over my wheel, mainly only on the spoke that has RacingHart engraved in it. Anyways, I've tried soap and water to get the gum off, but it just kind of moves around; I can't actually get the gum off. There's also a streak of gum on the fender behind the tire... I've gotten most of that, what's left would be easy to get off if I wasn't paranoid about messing up the paint. Any tips or suggestions, I don't wanna leave it on there any longer than I have too, but I dont wanna mess up the finish on the RH in the process.

Chewing gum has to be chewed out.
Oh yeah, don't try to get it off with a bone, it only makes things worse.

buy Goo Gone from home depot or eckerds, it smells good, and is gentle on painted surfaces, and evaporates. best shit ever to take off sticky shit.

Easier way - buy some compressed air cans and spray upside down
that freezes easier
