The real deal on color and #'s
 

I was wondering about the way wome people were saying that there were only 320 yellows for the MP3. But here is the real deal on that. I was looking at the Racing Beat site and wound this.
So this is the way I understand it. Since min MP3 is #1028 of 1500, it is #28 of the yellows. Am I wrong? I don't know, but this makes the most sense to me. Just thought I'd throw that out there for everyone to argue about for the next few few days.

I must be going brain dead from all the cramming for finals. I can't spell today,... min = my , and wound = found. I was really just trying to creat a new language. :D

nope, don't think that would work...I've got #1169 and mine is blue... :D back to the drawing board...don't study too hard, its overrated.

mazda better not be shitting us about the limited production they claim to have on this car!

the best thing to do is find out from the source. i have done this TWICE and posted on it many times. some of you people must be in denial or something i have been told that only 320 yellow were made. and i am sticking on that. the yellow was a very last minute dicision that is why there is only 320. and i have also conformed that there were a few blues made while there were yellow ones made. if any of you still dont believe me take 5 minutes and call Mazda USA and ask them. why would they bs us about how many yellows or blues were made they dont care. we are the only people who care. i actually dont care that much im just happy my car is more rare than the blue ones and luckiliy i found one when i did. :D :D :D

I wasn't sure about this. Just seeing what you all thought. I need to call Mazda NA to get my yellow # then. Man I love having the yellow, we are so few and far between. :p

Yeah, they are in the family photo album section. There are several links to them. I'll post a new topic for them so people can see all of them. There are several albums in my yahoo site. I even have som of my and mp3chikn's MP3. If you go to the Photos section in a few minuts they will be there.

From what Mazda NA had told me when I called for my number was 320 Yellow and 1180 Blue. That was a confirmed number through Mazda. I asked why, and the answer Mazda gave me was that the yellow had to be painted 3 times to cover the primer. So they basically said to hell with that, we will do the rest in blue. That is the story Mazda NA told me. :D

To add this may make sense..... Mazda made 1000 blue, then made yellow and said "screw this" beacuse the paint, and then made blue. Dont know if this is true. Just a thought. Considering that the few yellow that I have noticed, the production numbers are high numbers, but I dont know where the yellow started and ended. Do Know for a fact that there are 1180 Blue and 320 Yellow
