Alaska Road Trip (56K prepare to wait)

Well, my aunt & Mother -in laws are visiting, and they are big photobuffs... My aunt in Law has about $1200 in 35mm camera equipment (new twenty years ago) and my mother in law is a professional artist (oils, mostly landscapes)

This is a couple of the good pics we took from my 5mp Canon S2 IS

Not landscape, but I thought I'd share this collection...

I was playing with my Macro and Super-Macro features on my camera... I'm a newb, so if you can/want to critique my pics please do, I'd like to know what I'mm doing wrong, or can do better.

Tuned lighting and added graduated filter in post. I suck at lighting, maybe I'll get better.

These were from my 3mp Canon A70 that is 3 years old.

Holy buckets of gorgeous sky! Keep in mind it's midnight here (which translates to 4am Eastern, 3am Central) and the sun hasn't set yet... it'll rise in about 3 hours.

I looked outside as I was psoting these pics, and HAD to capture the colors.

I would have some issues with it staing light out,not being able to see out side is the only thing that gets me off my bicycle,and out of the skatepark.

... I think the weather is gorgeous, and the sun thing doesn't bother me, I think it's cool that I don't need headlights, besides, It'll get dark over the winter... and the Secenry will stay beautiful, if not better (since you can see through al the Trees)

Yesterday will not be the last time I go out and take pictures... I love it here!
