August 16th, 2009 - Meeting of the Mazda 2009

The 2009 Meeting of the Mazda was held by the Toronto Protege Club. After the past few years of a committee hosted event, it was finally decided a single club each year would be able to host an event of this scale to its full potential.

There were fliers, food, games, prizes... all for this annual get together for the whole Mazda lineup. Staff from Mazda Canada were there, head managers from dealerships were there, and individual sponsors also came out to enjoy this event.

The day did not take long, the event started at around 11am when many of the local car club's cars started rolling in. We heard that some members from Ottawa left their house at 5am just to roll in on time for this, not the mention the support from the Quebec Mazda Club for rolling from the next province. The games had a lot of participation and some people even got a little bit wet. Water balloon tossing, mini golf, dancing, there were so many games setup throughout the whole day. Awesome awesome event, never a dull moment =) Congratulations to all the winner of trophies, and prizes!
