Mud flaps

Want mud flaps, but want ones that stick out less than the Rally Armor ones. Any ideas?

They don't stick out that much, but the amount they do is actually the part that protects most of the side your car.

Either buy the rally armor ones and recut them to the way you like them (would be easy to cut the material) or look into making your own. I tried to price out urethane cheap enough to cut my own before I bought them but couldn't do it without buying bulk.

Somebody needs to make some molded mud flaps for this car already. Ken, or another of our vendors should jump on this. They would make a killing.

That's exactly what is meant by molded. They are made to fit the lines of the car. They are color coded. They just look more sophisticated I guess.

I've been wishing for molded mud flaps for a while now, but I am really starting to think about getting the rally armor ones since I can stand all the crap that gets thrown up on the side of my car while driving,(TAR) argh! And the rock chips aren't much fun either

most certainly. the rally armour mud flaps are so easy to clean as well. the material just doesnt let things stick. its protected my sideskirts and rear bumper so well and the hassle of cleaning off that nasty tar and dirt is a thing of the past.

They make molded mudflaps for the 3, which will fit onto our cars with a little work. By "a little work" I mean you have to actually remove a few inches of your side skirt to make the fronts fit. The rears differ between the hatch and the sedan, but all are for the MZ3, not the MS3, which is why they dont fit OVER the skirts. I have a set of the fronts, which I plan on trying to have molded to fit over the skirts, but its going to be a little while until Im able to do it.....

You can find the molded skirts here, if you are interested. Towards the bottom of the page.

I'm not looking to cut anything, but I appreciate it. Maybe one of the vendors can make a mold from them and adapt the mold to fit our cars. I personally would pay about $150 for some molded ones - there is a killing to be made!
